Whispers Of The Mountain

Whispers Of The Mountain is a voice activated sensor fusion system mounted on skiing equipment. The system has the capability of recording 6 axis accelerations, GPS coordinates, temperature, atmospheric pressure, ambient humidity, and distributed surface forces. The modules enable the recording of data instances that could potentially help experts describe different materials, terrain conditions, and equipment usage patterns. In order to understand and analyze the recorded data, a 3D geo-spatial visualization tool was developed.
This project was developed as part of City Science's ongoing collaboration with the Principality of Andorra along with the ActuaTech Foundation.
